Faith in Action: Life Skills

WORKSHOP SERIES

Our Heart Behind This Ministry

The goal of Faith in Action is to strengthen community, build confidence, and create meaningful opportunities to serve using the gifts people already have. It’s about showing up for one another in practical ways and reminding everyone that they have something valuable to offer.

This monthly series offers hands-on life skills workshops, each taught by volunteers from within our own congregation. These workshops are designed to be welcoming, easy to follow, and immediately useful, meeting people where they are and honoring every stage of life.

Topics may include:

  • Budgeting and basic financial planning

  • Cooking simple, nutritious meals

  • Basic car care

  • Resume writing and job readiness

Each session is built around encouragement, learning together, and creating space for connection.
